Overview
Presentation skills are vital to every role within an organisation. Effectively delivering a key message, and inspiring an audience to take action, is a skill that few have, but all need.
Furthermore, the variety of situations where presentations are delivered requires a wide breath of skills that ensures the audience is fully engaged and walks away with a memorable take-home message.
After all, when it comes to presentations, it’s not what the presenter says, but what the audience remembers. To this end, ClarkMorgan has designed nine practical presentation skills training programs.
For teams or presenters facing high-concept presentations in high-stakes environments, this incubator program takes existing presentations and presenters in a ‘deep dive’ to optimize their message and style.
Delegates gain a greater understanding of different thought processes and viewpoints, explore storytelling tools and questioning/answering techniques, and gain confidence to handle any presentation situation.
Heroes connect, affect, and inspire. In this exciting program, delegates from multiple functions will discover their personal brands and how to link them to the greater organizational message or brand; learn new communication tools for engagement, influence, and inspiration; better understand the art and science of storytelling; and practice how to execute these skills both face to face and in presentations.
This program draws from the field of Applied Improvisation, taking the skills and techniques of the Improv Theater stage and applying them as powerful communications skills.
Additionally, techniques of neurolinguistic programming and non-violent communication are employed to further enhance mindset shift towards positive communication. Debriefing, discussion and action-planning will ensure accountability to the new skills and processes continue long after this training.
Technical presentations can often be dry and boring. But they needn’t be. In fact, with the right energy and focus on visuals even technical presentations can be vivid and exciting.
This is the goal of this course.
Each module is based on the ClarkMorgan TAPE methodology, which ensures that trainees are guided as they practice the new skills, and are evaluated before moving onto the next module.
Big presentations like global strategy; organizational redirection or restructuring; new product rollouts, campaigns or pitches all seek the same outcome – buy-in on a massive scale. The importance of such presentations cannot be overstated, yet they are often bogged down with info-heavy slides and contributions from different stakeholders.
In this powerful coaching, executive presenters or management/sales teams will work together to discover their individual and personal connection to the message, maximize their personal presence and command a room, and balance flexibility when challenged with a firm grip on the call to action.
This coaching combines the powerful tools of improvisational theater, as well as techniques from Neurolinguistic Programming and Non-Violent Communication to result in a precise, targeted message for maximum buy-in.
